Aviation-Event 2022 CLJ summary
Aviation-Event 2022 CLJ brought together in Cluj over 150 participants, world leaders of the civil aviation industry, experts, interested parties and media from more than 20 countries, 25 airports and over 10 airlines. Among the prominent speakers who attended this conference we mention the following: Luis Felipe de Oliveira – General Director of ACIWorld, Adina Vălean – European Commissioner for Transport (video message), József Váradi – CEO of Wizz Air, and many others. The purpose of the event was to bring together the leaders of the European aviationindustry, who presented the new development perspectives of civil aviation at the international level, in the post-pandemic
context, as well as the continuous need to adapt to the new scenarios of the constantly changing aeronautical industry.
Aviation-Event 2023 CLJ in a glimpse
During the second edition of the conference, participants engaged in discussions regarding the specific elements of the legislative process in the field of civil aviation, the challenges of this constantly changing field and the need for cooperation among specialized organizations and institutions in order to facilitate the revitalization of air traffic. Aviation-Event 2023 was an opportunity for aviation specialists all over the world to address important issues like decarbonization, digitalization, costumer service, sustainability, operational resilience and disruptions. Among the top speakers of this edition we mention Olivier Jankovec (Director General – ACI Europe), József Váradi (CEO, Wizz Air), Marian-Jean Marinescu ( MEP, European Parliament), Jost Lammers (CEO, Munich Airport) and Costin Iordache (CEO– TAROM).
The third chapter of the successful story of Aviation-Event CLJ 2024 will take place on 15 March 2024 and promises a new package of important speakers who will draw the guidelines for supporting the development of civil aviation in the current aviation ecosystem context. The civil aviation leaders will meet on 15 March 2024, in Cluj-Napoca, to address key topics such as best practices for
incorporating sustainability in aviation future, operational safety and efficiency, but also issues concerning the current geopolitical scenario.
