The open and visionary management that we found here, made us believe this is the right place to accomplish the scope of this event that brings together representatives from the highest level of European aviation.“

David Ciceo – CEO of Cluj International Airport, has made the following comments: “On March 31, 2022, Cluj-Napoca will be the capital of European aviation. It is an honour, a great responsibility but also a challenge for Cluj International Airport to organize for the first time in Romania such a conference. This prestigious event represents the opportunity to show to the entire Europe the Romanian vision for a sustainable and resilient transport system can contribute to Romania’s long-term economic development. The privilege to host Aviation-Event 2022 CLJ, is a result of the status acquired by Cluj International Airport in the last two decades, respectively – a model of good practices and a reference airport in South-Eastern Europe, and the recent award given by ACI Europe as Best Airport in Europe under 5 million passenger/year comes to confirm all the above.“

Given the COVID-19 pandemic period, we want to ensure the health and safety of all delegates, speakers, and organizing staff. In this regard, we will review and adopt all measures to prevent contamination with the new coronavirus in order to minimize any associated risks and to ensure that the conference will take place in maximum safety conditions. We will follow the government’s guidelines and ensure the physical distance necessary for the smooth running of the event.
