David Ciceo – CEO of Cluj International Airport, has made the following comments: “On March 31, 2022, Cluj-Napoca will be the capital of European aviation. It is an honour, a great responsibility but also a challenge for Cluj International Airport to organize for the first time in Romania such a conference. This prestigious event represents the opportunity to show to the entire Europe the Romanian vision for a sustainable and resilient transport system can contribute to Romania’s long-term economic development. The privilege to host Aviation-Event 2022 CLJ, is a result of the status acquired by Cluj International Airport in the last two decades, respectively – a model of good practices and a reference airport in South-Eastern Europe, and the recent award given by ACI Europe as Best Airport in Europe under 5 million passenger/year comes to confirm all the above.“
